WHY ABUAD I LOVE ABUAD

          Afe Babalola University which the  National Universities Commission (NUC)  described it as a "miracle, model reference point and benchmark" for other universities.
           It is the only university founded by an acclaimed educationist, the twice winner of the best Pro-Chancellor of all universities in Nigeria; A former Pro-Chancellor of the University of Lagos; Chairman of Committee of Pro-Chancellors of Nigeria Universities and member of the Club of Rectors of Europe (AARE AFE BABALOLA). In founding the university, the purpose and objective of the Founder is to reform education in Nigeria by providing and leading others in quality education, service, industry and character as well as discipline.     The latest discussion going on in the school is the ban of any smart phone inclusive of tablet and Ipads. Though we realize that the school made this decision with our best interest in mind. We will also like to let the school know how these rules will greatly affect we the students. As regards the phone, the world is now a global and more civilized, smartphones are our easiest and fastest way to connect with the outside world as we remain in the four walls of the school for two semesters. It is also our means of communication amongst us Students, we pass vital information between ourselves especially in case of an emergency class which always comes up at least 20 times in a semester. With our smart phones taken away from us the assurance of Students missing classes is 99% sure and we all know how vital attendance in class is, without at least 90% failure is definite
 

 

 

  Another instance is that most of us are involved in profitable and reliable business which requires our easy and instant access to social networks. And these business is a life support for most of us and also we are all building ourselves to become Entrepreneurs which is what the school has encourage and inculcated in us right from when we stepped inside the school premises.
   We sincerely apologise for all our wrongs and we hope you will Kindly change your decisions as we humbly reflect on our actions.

If I am to start writing about why I love the school the list will be endless, but for the benefit of aspiring Students I will state a few things I love about ABUAD which you also get to enjoy as Fresher.

*ENDLESS OPPORTUNITIES the school provides students with lots lots and lots of opportunities ranging from scholarship and investment in students creative ideas

*And Most Importantly, The FATHERLY Love we get from the FOUNDER AND THE ENTIRE SCHOOL BODY, we care for us as their own and only wish us the best, with their hearth relationship with us.
