When Beyoncé does anything, she goes all out. Meaning, when it came time to put together the wardrobe for her Formation Tour, several world-class designers collaborated to create the show’s endless parade of unforgettable looks. In a new clip,
the wizards behind the various onstage looks explain just how far they go to get it right.
For instance, those giant hats Queen Bey and her backup dancers wear during the performance were made just for this tour. Also, they boil fishnets in a crockpot to try and get them to match each dancer’s skin tone.
And if none of that obsessive detail work impresses you, checking out the designers’ initial sketches matched with the final result is pretty mesmerizing stuff.
